A similar situation is found in most Texas cities, except for Houston and Austin, where bills have been passed to force companies to have more competitive wages.
Until now, for this 2022 there has been no real intention to increase the hourly wage earned by state workers, although experts indicate that, given the high inflation that is affecting the United States, this would be an urgent measure that should apply.
