Capital One Platinum, Capital One’s standard product

Capital One Platinum is the credit card offered by Capital One for people with average credit and is one of its most popular products.

For Capital One, “average credit” means that you do not have more than three years of credit record or that during the last five years you had an unfavorable payment record.

Capital One Platinum does not give access to VIP conditions. Because it is a standard credit, but it is a first step to build a good credit record and access better credit products in the medium term.

How to pay your Capital One bill online?

Capital One credit cards can be paid by mail or online.

To pay your Capital One card bill online, you must enroll in online banking. Once enrolled, you can schedule your payments days or weeks in advance.

Capital One online, like other online systems, offers, among other benefits, 24-hour access, seven days a week, which allows cardholders to monitor all transactions on their account.

You can also pay for several different Capital One cards or other types of accounts in your name from the online account.

Go to Capitalone.com Online Banking and look for the “Manage Your Accounts” box on the left side of the page.

Choose “Credit Cards” as the type of account you wish to manage. Then select “Login” or “Enroll Now” if you haven’t previously set up online payment.

If you enroll, you will need to enter your card account number, which is on the front of the card, the expiration date, the panel or three-digit security code on the front of the card, the last four your Social Security numbers and your date of birth.

Other steps to pay for your Capital One cards include creating a user profile by entering your first and last name and an email address, choosing a username and password.

You must choose three security questions and answers and select whether or not you want to receive your invoices by email or by traditional mail. Once enrolled, you will be ready to “ log in.”

Enter the selected username and password in the corresponding fields after pressing the “Login” option.

Press the “Login” button located below the referred fields.

Choose the “Pay My Bill” button under the “Payment Due Date” column.

Choose the Capital One card you want to pay (if you have more than one account) in the “Pay To” menu.

Choose the bank account from which you will take the funds in the “Pay from” menu. Or, select “Add an account” under the “Pay from” menu and enter your bank account number, routing number, and account type, either checking or savings.

Review the details and confirm. Your bank account will be added.

Choose “Amount to pay”. You can pay the minimum amount, pay the full balance based on the current balance, or enter “another amount to pay.”

Choose the calendar icon and select the date on which you want the automatic payment to be made, in the “Payment date” field. Choose “Continue to Step 2”.

Check the details provided, especially the amount to be paid, the payment date you will schedule and select “Approve”.
